The Ohio State University (OSU), is a public research university which main campus is located in Columbus, Ohio, and other campuses in Lima, Mansfield, Marion, Newark, and Wooster. It was founded in 1870 as a state university. It was ranked 15th overall in the U.S. research universities, ranked 57th overall in all U.S. universities, ranked 1st in Ohio among the public university.
