The Pennsylvania State University, commonly referred to as Penn State or PSU, founded in 1855, is a 4-year public research university with campuses and facilities throughout the state of Pennsylvania, United States. The main campus, University Park campus is organized into 14 distinct colleges: College of Agricultural Sciences, College of Arts and Architecture, Smeal College of Business, College of Communications, College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, College of Education, College of Engineering, Penn State College of Health and Human Development, College of Information Sciences and Technology, College of the Liberal Arts, Eberly College of Science, Graduate School, Schreyer Honors College, School of Nursing.
Its education was ranked the top ten in the nation, College of Engineering among the top fifteen, and is still climbing up. Geography and Climate
PSU is near the geographic centre of the state, University Park is its main campus, the largest of Penn State’s 24 campuses, a typical University Town. About 800 Chinese students (evenly divided between Taiwan and the mainland). Penn State’s climate with four distinct seasons, is a dry climate. A lot of hills here, bumpy for driving. Its summer temperature 90 degrees Fahrenheit (30 ℃), but it is little bit cool in the morning and evening. Winter (December to March) snows, about minus 10 ℃.
